Aaiz Ahmed Rasheed
Chief Psychologist
Education: Bachelor’s (Honors) in Psychology, Master of Science in Psychology (Clinical)
Aaiz’s dedication to understanding the depths of the human psyche inspires everyone around him. His academic journey has led him through the intricate landscapes of psychodynamic schools of therapy, transactional analysis, and beyond. His areas of interest include personality theory and disorders, identity and dissociation, to name a few. His passion for psychosocial advocacy and group-based training shines through in his work in restorative justice, prisoner rehabilitation, group therapy, and training programs.
Fun fact: Aaiz has a unique way of coping with anxiety: reciting old Hindi movie scripts or Dhivehi poems in his head. It is his go-to strategy for staying grounded.

Fathina Ahmed Khaleel
Licensed Counsellor
Education: Master of Counselling
Fathi is a dedicated counsellor with a warm and empathetic approach to supporting others on their journey to healing and self-growth. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas, making her a versatile guide for those seeking emotional support. Whether it is managing anger, navigating anxiety, improving communication, or addressing relationship issues, she brings empathy and skill to her practice.
Fun fact: Fathi is a proud cat mummy now, but she used to be cat-phobic!
Fathimath Saniya Saleem
Licensed Psychologist
Education: MSc in Psychology (Clinical)
Saniya is dedicated to helping people of all ages. Saniya brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice, utilizing modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy to support her clients on their healing journeys.
Fun fact: Saniya has an impressive knack for geography: she can name the capital city of almost any country in the world!
Aishath Afnan Mukhthar
Licensed Psychologist
Education: Master of Clinical Psychology
Afnan has a thoughtful and compassionate approach to therapy. She focuses on helping clients make sense of their struggles and guiding them toward meaningful, fulfilling lives. Her interest areas include mood-related disorders, anxiety-related disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, complicated grief, relational difficulties, and trauma-informed approaches.
Fun fact: Afnan’s first passion was archaeology. Her love for Ancient Egypt began at age 10 and continues to this day, and she even studied World History during her pre-degree year to deepen her knowledge.

Niva Dominic
Licensed Psychologist
Education: Bachelors (Honours) in Psychology, Master of Science in Psychology (Clinical & Counselling), MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology
Niva is a child psychologist with a comprehensive background in clinical and counseling psychology. Her experience includes roles as a child psychologist and rehabilitation psychologist, where she has made meaningful contributions to her clients’ well-being. Her areas include neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioural disorders, fear, anxiety, and emotional/social difficulties. She also provides behaviour modification therapy for children from 15 months to 13 years.
Fun fact: Niva speaks multiple languages, including English and Malayalam, and is moderately fluent in Telugu and Tamil, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients.

Fathimath Maeesha
Licensed Psychologist
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Applied Psychology
Mai is a dedicated psychologist with a passion for supporting others through life’s challenges. As an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA), she is committed to promoting mental health awareness and care. Her areas of interests include developing coping strategies for life transitions, grief, mental health in older adults, trauma-informed care, depression, and communication challenges.
Fun fact: Mai loves snuggling at home in her pajamas, diving into a good book, or getting lost in a thrilling crime show.

Leen Ahmed
Licensed Provisional Psychologist
Education: Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), Masters in Clinical Psychology
Leen’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works closely with individuals experiencing mood and anxiety-related disorders, personality disorders, and interpersonal difficulties. She brings both depth and compassion to her practice, supporting clients in making meaningful change and reconnecting with what matters most.
Fun fact: Leen believes children’s books are timeless treasures, with Roald Dahl and The Little Prince topping her list. She is also a total sucker for good dumplings.

Azra Abdul Sattar

Education: Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Science in Clinical Psychology
Azu has a keen interest and specialization in working with individuals experiencing trauma and stressor-related disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders, anxiety disorders, and geriatric conditions. Her work is dedicated to supporting people through life’s most challenging experiences, helping them heal, cope, and find resilience.
Fun fact: Azu’s nurturing heart goes beyond humankind. She is a cat mum and loves volunteering her time to support them through NGOs.

Aishath Sha’aa Shameem
General Manager / Licensed Provisional Counsellor
Education: BSc in Psychology (Hons), PGCert in Positive Psychology, MSc in Counselling
Sha works through a humanistic-existential approach, creating a reflective space where clients can safely explore who they are beneath the roles they play. She believes that therapy isn’t about fixing yourself but rather about discovering who you already are, and learning to live that truth with awareness and courage.
Fun fact: Sha makes up little songs to cope with big feelings. They are floating quietly in the digital void as a kind of memoir, waiting for whoever might need them someday.
Dr. Maumoon Shareef
Psychiatrist
Education: MBBS, MD in Psychiatry
Dr. Maanu is our compassionate Psychiatrist with a special focus on child and adolescent mental health, promoting mental health awareness, advocating for better understanding and support, and addressing stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health. He has a special interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and anxiety disorders.
Fun fact: He is the founder of Boardroom, which unfortunately is no longer active, a unique books and board games café where creativity meets purpose. He also has great content ideas!

Nihya Ali Rasheed
Licensed Provisional Psychologist
Education: Bachelor of Psychology, Master of Science in Psychology (Clinical)
Nihya practices from a humanistic and integrative approach, tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. She is passionate about helping clients understand the deeper patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviours while creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for growth and healing. While her primary experience is with children, adolescents, and young adults, she works with a diverse range of clients and areas of concern.
Fun fact: When not working, you will find her immersed in a good book, exploring creative hobbies, or recharging by the ocean.
Mariyam Shaifa
Licensed Psychological Associate
Education: Bachelor of Psychology, MSc in Clinical Psychology (ongoing)
Shaifa’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She works with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, mood and anxiety-related disorders, personality disorders, and interpersonal difficulties. She supports clients in enhancing emotional awareness, improving relationships, and developing resilience through a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic approach.
Fun fact: Shaifa accidentally became a librarian when her hobby of reading turned into collecting books. She runs a mini library for family and friends, using membership cards to track reading and award points for completed books.
